"Arrivée en France en août 2011 sans connaissance préalable de la langue française, j’ai commencé à prendre des cours auprès de Madame Olivia Ben Haim à partir du mois d’octobre de la même année.
Mes progrès ont été très rapides et m’ont permis de faire face aux exigences du quotidien sans que ceux-ci ne se transforment en handicaps insurmontables. Jour après jour, le champ de mes connaissances s’est élargi jusqu'à pouvoir commencer à lire des livres simples en français.
Aujourd’hui, après quelques 8 mois de cours réguliers deux fois par semaine, je suis capable d’entretenir une discussion certes simple mais qui autorise l’établissement de contacts avec les personnes que je fréquente au quotidien.

Because I was preparing for the TCF (a national French language exam) and a masters program in France, I had very specific needs and goals. "A la mi-mars, nous étions très inquiets par le fait que notre fils n'avait pratiquement pas fait d'anglais et qu'il lui était demandé d'être au niveau langue vivante I en anglais à la rentrée de septembre en 4ème.
Aussi, nous sommes infiniment reconnaissants à nos amis qui nous ont fait connaître vos coordonnées et avons mesuré, au début l'ampleur de la tâche, puis, au fur et à mesure, le plaisir qu'avait Eloi à apprendre en votre compagnie. Le rythme a été bon (entre 2 et 3 heures par semaine) et nous attendons avec impatience les premiers résultats d'interrogation ou devoir. A l'oral, il nous dit qu'il comprend et qu'il est à peu près au même niveau que ses camarades.

"I don’t know what I would have done without Olivia! I was introduced to her about 8 months into my 18 month assignment and it was honestly the turning point of my whole experience in France. We did our lessons on Skype which worked brilliantly since I was an hour away. I must admit I am not the best student, but she was organized, patient, knowledgeable and certainly one of the best teachers I have ever had. She had a unique perspective because of her time spent both in America and in France so she could teach me many lessons not only about the language, but also about me new life in France.
